Hello welcome to our website! We are Jonathan and Olivia Bobo, from Lewisville, Texas, and have been living in Thailand for one year.
Currently, only 1% of the population of Thailand claims to be Christians. We have the heart to see this nation come to know the love of Christ and put their faith in Jesus. We are blessed to be a part of Bethel Bangkok and join their mission to reach the campus, city, and nation.
We are thankful to be involved in the worship team, church planning meetings, and campus events as the church plant grows, because we know it is all for the glory of God. As we currently serve in these areas, we are learning the Thai language in order to be most effective to preach the gospel and make disciples.

Our love story!!
Jonathan and I first met all the way back in 2010 when we were just 14 years old! The Lord reconnected us in 2019 through social media while I was living in Australia! Jonathan and I got to know each other through facetime, texts and social media posts. Jonathan would often watch the devotionals I would lead online and was always very supportive and encouraging to me. One day I asked my followers for any prayer requests and Jonathan replied and asked to facetime and pray together (so sweet). When we facetimed for the first time, it felt like we had known each other forever because of our similar childhoods, interests, and faith. We both grew up in the same town, and went to the same university.
Later on he told me that if I was ever back in Texas to let him know so we could see each other. That’s exactly what I did when I arrived home in 2021 and we went on our first date! Over the next 3 weeks, we grew our friendship and fell in love! I saw Jonathan’s heart for the Lord, his family, and music. How kind, encouraging and adventurous he is! We knew that God had put us together and placed us in each others lives forever!
Jonathan proposed to me 6 months later in the most romantic way! He sang me a song and played the ukulele at golden hour with the most beautiful picnic set up! The proposal was followed by a surprise engagement party with our friends and family. We got married 5 months later on December 3, 2021 surrounded by loved ones!
In the midst of our engaged season, we felt the Lord call us to Thailand and planned to go once we were married. We arrived in Thailand just 8 days after we got married and now been living and serving in Bangkok for 2 years! We are so thankful for the beautiful, adventurous life & marriage the Lord has given us!
